NEW! Conveyostat Dual Phase+ Power Supply

The Conveyostat's new Dual Phase+ Power Supply produces high voltage at high speeds. It displays fault and warning status indicators for short circuit detection and clogging when running metalized films.

Additionally, it is designed to automatically shut down if any problem with the high voltage occurs. A low voltage remote is available for the Dual Phase+. It includes an on/off switch and displays live fault and warning conditions. This results in a safer install with reduced high voltage cable.

Simco-Ion is excited to introduce their newest innovation in Hazardous Location static control, the IQ Power HL Sensor and Interface. These new IQ Power HL components leverage all the benefits of the unprecedented IQ Power Static Neutralizing System and ensure exceptional ionization performance within Class 1, Division 1 classified areas. IQ Power HL Sensors are intrinsically safe active modules that are easy to install without the use of conduit. In conjunction with the IQ Power HL Static Neutralizing bars, Sensors in CLFB mode allow power units to adjust in real-time to ensure the material has the lowest possible residual charge. Additionally, Sensors can be used as a stand-alone monitoring system. The Sensor incorporates digital technology, which impervious to noise and offers superior signal transmission to the IQ Power HL Sensor Interface. The HL Sensor Interface acts as a gateway between the IQ Power HL Sensors and IQ Power Control Station. The Interface displays fault and warning status indicators for up to 8 connected Sensors. User alarms for both warning and fault are set via Control Station.

Vickers Oils is pleased to confirm that approval has been received from Rolls-Royce Marine AS - Ulsteinvik for the use of BIOGEAR XP 68 in Tunnel Thrusters. We have worked with Rolls-Royce over many years to develop our products in order to meet the stringent performance requirements required for lubricants in today’s equipment. BIOGEAR XP is a range of high performance, Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) designed for use where there is potential for fluid loss to occur, for example from thrusters and some CPP designs. These products are extreme pressure (EP) gear oils with excellent anti-wear and micro pitting performance. BIOGEAR XP is available in ISO 68, 100 and 150 viscosities and is stocked on a global basis. This is the latest in a wide range of OEM approvals received for the Vickers Oils BIOGEAR XP range of VGP compliant EAL gear lubricants, from thruster manufacturers including Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Nakashima, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Kamome, KTE and Caterpillar Propulsion. Vickers Oils is the leader in Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) for the marine industry and in 2002 became the first company to make EALs commercially available to the global marine market. Our products have been proven in practice and used by thousands of vessels making us the first choice for responsible vessel operators. In 2013, the use of EALs in below-the-waterline equipment was mandated for vessels calling in US waters by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The use of EALs is one way in which vessel operators can achieve real cost saving benefits through superior performance and as an effective way to mitigate the effects of accidental and incidental leakage from equipment such as CPPs, sterntubes, thrusters, stabilisers, deck and hull equipment. Vickers Oils has a range of Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants which are OEM approved and VGP compliant, in addition to BIOGEAR XP, they include • HYDROX BIO lubricants are developed primarily for use in sterntubes and bearings where water ingress may occur. The products provide superior level of lubrication, excellent wear protection, excellent bearing corrosion protection and are compatible with most commonly used metals. Approved by leading OEMs such as SKF Marine, Wӓrtsilӓ and KEMEL. • BIOGREASE EP2 is a Lithium/Calcium thickened lubricating grease based on fully saturated esters. It is designed for use in sensitive marine environments. It can be used in a variety of marine applications which demand a NLGI 2 grease providing long lasting corrosion protection and excellent resistance to water wash off. • ECOSURE is a range of high performance, anti-wear hydraulic fluids. Available in ISO 22, 32, 46, 68 and 100 these fluids deliver superior fluid life and oxidation resistance. Used in sensitive environments where there is the potential for fluid loss to occur - typically used in CPPs, water tight doors, ramps, platforms, davits, cranes, winches, capstans and stabilisers. Should you wish to discuss your EAL requirements in more detail please do not hesitate to contact us.
